JCI Santa Clarita Hosts A Training Session from Paul Butler

On July 29th at 6 p.m., JCI Santa Clarita also known as Junior Chamber International of Santa Clarita will be hosting its monthly training and development series online. The focus of July’s program is, Business Financial Intelligence — a mindset and skillset FEW employees have and ALL organizations need. Members of the community are encouraged to come and learn new leadership principles and skillsets. Featured in this program Paul Bulter, Client Partner and Owner of New Leaf Training and Development will be covering how to:
• Better understand the financial forms like an income statement, balance sheet and the statement of cashflows
• Master commonly heard yet commonly misunderstood business financial jargon.
• Commentary on 6 reasons why a high stock price is a good thing
• Understand the 3 most often-used budgeting methodologies
Paul Butler is a Client Partner with Newleaf Training and Development, based in Valencia. Paul is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA), having qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to starting Newleaf Training and Development in 2005, he served as a Regional Finance Director for Marriott International Hotels and Hilton International Hotels. Paul also served as the Director of Finance for Hilton Honors. Paul is a very engaging facilitator, able to take the complexity of a subject and distill it into simple, memorable concepts that can be immediately applied.
