6 Degrees…Selina Thomas Continues to Connect to People
Selina Thomas CEO/Founder of 6 Degrees HR Consulting understands and believes so much in the premise of 6 degrees of separation that she named her HR Consulting firm with the mindset of building a global company that supports small businesses. 6 years later 6 Degrees and Selina are poised to do just that.
Despite a global pandemic Ms. Thomas has been busier then ever in 2020. After a run for City Council in November she realized that her calling to serve businesses and the people of SCV is possible with hard work and perseverance.
After helping many small businesses and their employees (some free of charge) Selina has a lot to look forward to 2021. Ms. Thomas now has a collaborative podcast with The Signal newspaper appropriately titled “Selina Thomas SCV’s HR Guru” focused on telling the stories of SCV’s small businesses community and continued ambitions for public service Selina is just getting started.
With many local client’s hopeful for re-opening Selina makes it her daily mission to advocate and give the small businesses that embraced her in 2014 a voice and presence to local, state, and federal law makers. “I know how it feels to want to be seen and heard as a new business. Many people do not realize how hard hit our small businesses need recovery. If I have a platform to place them on the front page every day, I will use it.”
Ms. Thomas provides positive daily tips, insight, and updates on her social media that many have come to rely during dark days of 2020. The outlook for relief in the new year is bright along with Selina’s future.
