True Transformation
As I’m writing this article, I’m still inspired by last month’s cleansing rituals as part of the Jewish New Year and I’m feeling excited about the promise of fresh beginnings. With the shofar’s blasts still echoing, I feel awakened with a deeper sense of expanded awareness. While I make new resolutions each Rosh Hashana, I’m always searching for the right path to inner peace, fulfillment, and joy.
Naturally, life is full of challenges, surprises, and disappointments. It helps to know that things change all the time, the good and the bad. The more we resist change, the more stressful it gets. Surrender and embrace the changes as they might even lead to a better outcome. There’s never an ultimate moment of perfection, feeling completely satisfied with life. Instead, we must always work on making things better. Andy Warhol said, “They say that time changes things, but actually you have to change them yourself.”
And who better to know what we need to fix and improve than ourselves? To find the answers and tap deep inside you, sit still, empty your thoughts, take a deep breathe, evaluate where you’re standing now and ask yourself what you wish to be and achieve. Be clear when writing it in your life’s plan. Come free from judgements and old patterns. Make a list of the changes and actions you must make to learn from your past challenges; they’re an opportunity for growth. Envision how you want to reinvent yourself in the future. By expressing your wishes you’re inviting them into your life. Then the universe responds, and new doors open. Be willing to accept the answers that are right just for you with an open mind. Think of your dreams, goals, skills, talents, capabilities, and potential. Always know that the power to transform your path already exists in you. Approach every day with intention, purpose, and passion to stay positive throughout the year and you’ll be filled with immense light and energy. Transform your life to one worth celebrating. It’s up to you to manifest such blessed life.
