The Problem with Weight Loss Challenges (2022)
Did you know that over 90% of the contestants on The Biggest Loser TV Show gained all their weight back within a few years?
Weight loss challenges have been all the rage and many people have found them to be a fun and effective way to lose weight. A few hard working and lucky challenge participants have not only lost weight, but they’ve won cash and prizes too! Losing weight and winning money seems like a win-win so what’s the problem?
The problem is that an overwhelming percentage of weight loss challenge contestants end up gaining all if not more of the weight they lost back. Sadly, the weight loss industry’s dirty little secret is that only 5% of dieters keep their weight off over 3 years.
So why does this happen? Extreme weight loss just isn’t sustainable. Crash diets almost always fail because people eventually go back to their old eating habits. If you’ve struggled with Yoyo dieting in the past, then you already know that gaining all the weight you lost back is a horrible and embarrassing feeling.
The good news is challenges can be a fun and challenging way to get fit and lose weight if what you’re doing is healthy, safe and sustainable. What you need is a simple and easy weight loss solution that is Effective, Realistic, and most importantly Sustainable. Everyone is different, so it is important that you find an effective workout routine and nutrition plan that you can actually live with.
You can lose weight on just about any diet or challenge but if it takes all the willpower, you can muster just to stick with it, you’re eventually going to give up and that is where the breakdown lies for most of us. What most people fail to realize is that you don’t need to be perfect to get results. With the right program, you can develop the healthy habits you need to get the lasting results you want.
To create healthier and more sustainable weight loss methods we went back to the drawing board and completely overhauled the way traditional diets and weight challenges are designed. We’ve taken the guesswork out of it and literally provide you with EVERYTHING you need to get lasting results.
