by | May 24, 2022 | Medical

Who’s at the most risk for glaucoma?
Anyone can get glaucoma. However, if you’re over age 50, diabetic, have high blood-pressure or have a family member with glaucoma, you are at higher risk for glaucoma than others.
Is there any way to prevent glaucoma?
Most types of glaucoma cannot be prevented.
What are the signs and symptoms of glaucoma?
There are usually no signs that you’re developing glaucoma until vision loss occurs. This is why it’s so important to have regular eye exams. If diagnosed early, glaucoma can be treated be-fore it progresses to loss of vision.
Is glaucoma curable?
Sometimes glaucoma can be cured. In most cases glaucoma is treatable to prevent further damage to the eye.
