The Paseo Club Summer Camp
Nine weeks of tennis for all ages and levels. Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM ( lunch included ) and again from 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM. During lunch, the kids get to use our Olympic size pool, so swim gear is encouraged.
The morning sessions will focus on technical aspects, while the second half of the day will focus on match play and developing strategic skills.
Our youngest participants, ages 5-10 will spend the second half of the day doing arts and crafts after a morning of tennis.
We offer coaching for all levels, our Junior Pro staff features former and current College Players that will hit in during match play, posing big challenges for even the most advanced participants.
The higher the level, the more we focus on specifics. For example, tennis is a battle and you need better weapons than your opponent. We try to focus on stroke flexibility rather than swing path. Stroke flexibility is the ability to handle any ball hit to you and return it with the appropriate combination of speed, spin, depth, height and direction. We teach problem solving.
And while fun is at the top of the order, we certainly make sure that our participants leave with a healthy dose of confidence, ability to make decisions and accountability.
