Burrtec in Santa Clarita – A New Phase in Waste Hauling A Glimpse into Burrtec’s Accomplishments and Ambitious Plans
Burrtec Waste Industries has hit the ground running since transitioning City of Santa Clarita residents from Waste Management to Burrtec beginning July 1. In just a few short weeks, we have accomplished so much and demonstrated our commitment to providing exceptional waste services to the community.
Engaging the Community: During August, Burrtec has engaged with over 17,500 Santa Clarita customers and responded to over 2,000 emails, keeping our Customer Service Representatives very busy. We have also processed another 1,500 senior and low-income discount applications, making our services more affordable for the community.
Infrastructure and Team Expansion: To enhance operations, in July we deployed 50 new trucks equipped with advanced service technology. We have also welcomed over 40 former Santa Clarita Waste Management drivers and mechanics to our team. We are thrilled to strengthen our workforce with their experience, knowledge, and shared commitment to Santa Clarita.
New Facility Acquisition: Burrtec has acquired the facility that Waste Management previously operated from, which is also located on Springbrook Ave. This facility will serve as our new operational hub, improving service quality for Santa Clarita residents by remaining in the local community.
Family-Owned Business: Burrtec has operated its family-owned business in Southern California for over 65 years. We have maintained a local office in Santa Clarita for over 20 years, while servicing the Santa Clarita business community and the surrounding unincorporated Los Angeles County areas such as Stevenson Ranch and Castaic. We are excited to have the opportunity to provide our services to the residents within the City of Santa Clarita as well.
Looking Ahead: Burrtec remains dedicated to enhancing our services and serving as a valuable resource in Santa Clarita. Residents that haven’t already experienced the cart exchange can visit Burrtec.com/SCV to find an interactive map with their scheduled residential cart exchange day. Note: County residents, or residents annexed into the city, are not affected by this change.
Conclusion: Through community engagement, efficient waste disposal, innovative practices, team expansion and support by our professional team, Burrtec is committed to the sustainability and customer satisfaction of City of Santa Clarita residents. Burrtec is proud to be your waste services partner.
