Meet Sarah Jessica Porker Animal Tracks
Sarah Jessica Porker arrived at the sanctuary in February 2015 as a 15-week-old piglet, delivered by a neighbor who swore she was a “teacup” and would stay tiny. That prediction aged…poorly. Today she tips the scales at a fabulous 150 pounds and fully embraces her status as the undisputed boss of the barnyard—big, bold, and absolutely in charge!
Animal Tracks has attempted matchmaking for her not once, but twice, bringing in male pot-bellied pigs to see if she’d enjoy companionship. Sarah shut that idea down immediately! With some clear snorting, dramatic posturing, and a full escort out of her house, she made it obvious that romance is not on her agenda and neither suitor would be sticking around.
Spa day isn’t exactly her love language either. Her quarterly hoof trims are not something she volunteers for, but our clever vet has cracked the code: while Sarah is happily focused on her meal, she gets gently flipped for a lightning-fast trim before she realizes what’s happening. It’s the only way to keep her hooves healthy and prevent overgrowth that would eventually cause discomfort.
When she’s not dodging pedicures, Sarah roams the sanctuary like she owns it! She wanders in search of snacks…especially after any monkey get-together that might leave behind crumbs…and enjoys stirring up a little harmless drama with her fellow residents. Bedding is serious business, too. She fluffs it to her exact standards and has vocal opinions if anyone rearranges it.
Sarah’s sass and larger-than-life personality keep us laughing daily! When she’s out roaming the sanctuary, she rules the roost and taste-tests everything in sight.
