A Mismatch
My dating life started slowing down, so I decided to give online dating another chance. It took a couple weeks, but finally a nice lady answered my email. She looked very pretty in her photos, and after reading her profile I felt there could be the possibility of a match. She emailed me, and said that she had noticed me on the site a while ago. Then she gave me her number, and we had a couple nice conversations. We decided to meet for drinks, and I let her select the place. Our schedules kept conflicting, so getting the date set up was a little chore. Finally we set up the day, and time. I told her I would call about an hour before, in case I had to work later.

Making Food From the Heart at Sushi Shoken
For 10 years, Sushi Shoken owner, Augustine Shin, was doing business in Japan. He was always interested in Japanese food because of its low calorie, low fat, and healthy dishes. Finally, when he moved to the United States in 2002, he took the chance to open a sushi restaurant in the heart of Stevenson Ranch.
Shin states, “We make food as naturally as possible. We make food with heart. We make food that will satisfy our customers. Enjoy the food and save money at the same time! Once you try it you won’t regret it.”
Hey Bob, Didn’t I See You In…?
Yeah. You did. N.C.I.S. on Tuesday, January 29. A milestone for me – My 50th guest star role on network TV.
“Hey Bob, we were watching that new reality show, The Joe Schmo Show last night when the prisoner escapes and you come storming in, playing that southern prison warden…”
Yep. Right again. That was me; belting out, verbatim, the Tommy Lee Jones speech from The Fugitive just to see if the ‘mark’ would pick up on it. You know the one…

Numero Uno
Although well known for our Chicago Style deep dish pizza, with the succulent diced tomatoes, we also specialize in numerous pastas, such as our home made lasagna. With a secret recipe brought from Italy in 1973 by one of the founders of Numero Uno, it has become a tradition of our own. Filled with mozzarella and romano Cheese, paired with our unique and rich meat sauce, layered with lots of noodles and our own garlic bread, it’s just delicious!
Celebrate Mother’s Day Persia Restaurant
The origin of Mother’s Day dates back to ancient Greece and Rome and although Mother’s Day is an American celebration, similar honor is designated to mothers throughout the world throughout the months of March, April and May. These days are set aside to show appreciation.
Mother’s Day, first celebrated in 1908, is a day honoring mothers and motherhood; a tribute well deserved. Because the day also honors the influence of mothers in society, many aunts and women who have had an influence are often recognized.

Let’s Talk About Art Did You Know?
I have often wondered who reads my articles. A few people have called me and some asked me if I would teach ‘art’ to their children. Actually I did teach art lessons to one young girl and she did great. Now, I have a question for the readers. What can art give to a community? Here are some of the many things art can do.

They’re “timed” to favor that particular restaurant that agreed to do it! How so? Simple. Let’s say you’re holding your fundraiser at a local burger franchise, or a local pizza franchise, or…wherever. They’ve given you a time frame of between 4 until 8 p.m.…or maybe 5 until 9 p.m..
