Frame Your Vacation Memories

Frame Your Vacation Memories

Imagine your fondest memories hanging in the den or living room for you to enjoy every day.  Souvenirs and mementos from a fun vacation can be displayed in a beautiful shadowbox. Vacation memories can be prominently displayed in your home instead of packed away in a closet or attic. Just come in to our gallery with your items and we will help you design and create a one-of-a-kind memory. Custom made just for you.

Yes, We Do…

Yes, We Do…

When we explain that we do all of the work here in the back room at FASTFRAME, we often get a surprised response such as “Oh, I thought you sent everything out and just took orders”.  We are proud to say that all of our framing projects from start to finish are done right here.  This is very important as it ensures the security and safety of each and every piece that we frame.

Cake for the 4th!

Cake for the 4th!

Summer is in full swing and the 4th of July is almost here! If you are in the mood to make a cake to celebrate the 4th then make sure you have the right size of cake pans so you can serve the correct amount for your party!

On May 6, 2015, proud parents John and Nehsa Russell welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. Emberly Grace Russell was born weighing seven pounds, eleven ounces and was 20 inches long.

A Quick Fix to Looking and Feeling Better

A Quick Fix to Looking and Feeling Better

Well I can say after almost 25 years of Naughty but Nice in SCV, things have sure changed.  What started out as a cute shop to buy cute things has morphed into so much more!  We now help women to feel better about themselves no matter what their size.  Bra fitting is such an important and intimate experience, yet women seem to wait until they are totally fed up with the look and fit that they have settled for over the years.

Framing for Father’s Day

Framing for Father’s Day

June is here.  The graduations are over, summer vacations have begun.  June also means Father’s Day.  That time of year when we have the opportunity to let Dad know how much we appreciate all he does for us.  It can be difficult to find that special gift that truly reflects how we feel about Dad.  The cards are nice and sometimes help us to put our feelings into words but they just aren’t enough.

Aprons: A Fashionable Cover Up

Aprons: A Fashionable Cover Up

Aprons have been around as long as anyone can remember. A handy tool, the principal use of an apron is to protect the wearer and their clothing underneath. From blacksmiths to cooks, from cobblers and grocers to bakers and fisherman, aprons have been worn throughout time by nearly every tradesman and tradeswoman.
It was not until the turn of the 12th century that it became fashionable for women to wear an apron and the heavy leather and suede gave way to delicate materials with lace, patterns, embroidery and frills.

Framing for the Future

Framing for the Future

Soon it will be June graduation time. Give your graduate’s academic degree the importance it deserves by putting it in a custom frame.  Not only will the proper frame help preserve this precious document for the future, it will create a beautiful presentation to enjoy now.  Custom framing goes well beyond the basic black frame.  Designs can range from rich and traditional to simple and contemporary.  You can choose to highlight school colors or incorporate tokens of other activities such as sports or theater.

Single Parent Spotlight: Jennifer Partida

Single Parent Spotlight: Jennifer Partida

Jennifer Partida is an inspiring example of a strong and determined woman who has turned her family’s life around with the support and community resources in SCV like those provided by Single Mothers Outreach (SMO).  At one time she felt riddled with doubt and fear about her situation in life but her current outlook shows a new sense of control, serenity and gratefulness.  After escaping an abusive relationship and finding herself and her kids homeless with nothing but the clothes on their backs, she learned that the community could provide temporary respite from their chaos and drama while teaching her that she could survive and eventually thrive.  When you have no home, no car and no job or income to count on, life can descend into hopelessness.

Motherhood

Motherhood

What a truly wonderful experience to be a mother.  I wouldn’t trade it for anything.  I can honestly say the happiest days of my life (so far) were when my son was little. Now that he is grown, I am looking forward to him making me a grandmother one day so that I can re-experience childhood without all the pressures of being a new mom, as if we were discovering life together.
Being a mom has changed not only the way I look at everything in life, but it has also changed the way I look!

Happy One-Year Anniversary to Ma Maison!

Happy One-Year Anniversary to Ma Maison!

Having started her journey with Ma Maison one year ago, Santa Clarita resident Denise Myers is looking forward to another successful year serving the community and bringing a new and unique shopping experience to Main Street.  “In the year I have been here, I have been getting to know what it’s like to be on Main Street and what our customers are looking for,” says Denise.  “I started carrying new lines based on people’s request, and will continue to strive to find the things they are looking for.”

Mind Over Body

Mind Over Body

Why do we let our minds stop us from changing things we’d like to change, and how can we overcome that? All women have been naughty at some point, yet the word shouldn’t define or prohibit us on any level. However, seeing it in print seems to stop us in our tracks. Bra fitting can and will help you to look better, feel better and gain a better self-image.

Oh Baby!

The Magazine of Santa Clarita is happy to announce the birth of Cormick Jeffrey Williams, born with the Luck O’ the Irish on March 17, 2015 to proud parents JJ and Cassie Williams.
