Feel Beautiful â Feel Empowered A Shiny New Penny Part 2
As the big day approached I had no idea how wonderful it was to pamper myself with a manicure, pedicure, hair color and new style. I awoke on the “shoot day” with feelings of dread. I delayed getting out of bed for as long as I could for today was the day I would go out on a limb and expose myself in all my glory.

Hanging Art and Personal Mementos: Is There a Particular Formula to Follow?
Over the last 28 years we have hung thousands of paintings and framed shadow box picture and framed mementos at our gallery, in clients’ homes and offices, and in our own home. There are times when customers ask us, “Is there a formula or particular way to hang art?” To answer this question is rather easy. In our opinion the best way to hang art is to do it by eying the wall where you plan to place your pictures and collectibles and start with a central spot, and work out the hanging of pictures from there.
I’m Back From Antwerp
I have recently returned from a buying trip to the Diamond Capital of the World – Antwerp, Belgium – where two-thirds of the world’s diamonds are traded. I had the unique opportunity to buy direct from the major Antwerp cutters and pass significant savings on to customers in the Santa Clarita Valley area. I louped and handpicked all the diamonds purchased in Antwerp, Belgium.

It’s a game of passion. It’s America’s game.
Mothers’ Rings: A Precious Gift for a Precious Person
Mother’s Day is a special day to honor our mothers. What a perfect time to show our love and appreciation to such a divine individual. Many mothers are gentle, loving, patient, kind and these are just a few wonderful qualities they possess. They give so much of themselves, usually wanting little or nothing in return.
Family, Friends and Framing
We pride ourselves in serving the Santa Clarita Valley since 1981. Barbara and I started our business out of our house near Saugus High School and in 1983 purchased B&R Framing & Art Supplies at 17720 Sierra Highway in Canyon Country from Bob Owen and his family. Back in 1983 B&R was 1,600 square feet, and we evolved through the years to 2009, and currently have a 6,000-square-foot facility. We are very blessed that we have such friendly customers and friends here in SCV, and we have lots of fun servicing them.

The modern Mother’s Day holiday was created by Anna Jarvis as a day for each family to honor its mother. Ironically the country’s greatest proponent of motherhood never had children of her own. Yet that didn’t stop her from making the celebration of Mother’s Day her lifelong mission.
