But, I’ve Tried Everything! Really?
Often times I see people who are at the end of their rope when trying to fix or change their lives. They claim they’ve tried everything: medication, acupuncture, diet changes, etc. My response is: Really? Everything? Everything is a lot! When I ask if they’ve done any research or read books, specifically on that topic, most of the times the response is no. So, what makes us believe that we’ve done everything? In this day and age, there’s a need for a quick fix for everything. If someone has a weight problem, instead of actually working on it, they may choose to go under the knife or take harmful chemicals to reduce their appetite and increase their energy.

A Woman’s Secret
Most women are happy to share stories regarding their upgraded bra sizes and tummy tightening procedures, but they rarely are comfortable discussing details of their vaginal anatomy, even among friends. But this shouldn’t be the case. Just like breasts, this unique feature of women’s bodies comes in different sizes and shapes. While all aspects of a woman’s body are beautiful, many women find themselves embarrassed or insecure regarding the appearance of their labia.

Meal Science
Eating five or six small meals throughout the day, as opposed to two or three larger ones, is a new idea that dieticians and nutritionists are talking about. Eating a greater number of smaller meals, sometimes referred to as “grazing,” keeps your body’s metabolism revving as it is constantly digesting food. The concept is like a whole day of moderate physical activity, as compared to a few short bursts of intense exercise. Slow and steady may just win the race.

Lastly, waste material is toxic (poisonous).
Weighing the Risks and Benefits of Laser Vision Correction
Laser vision correction has been routinely performed in the United States since approved by the FDA in 1995. To date, over eight million procedures have been performed in the U.S.
Laser vision correction gives one the opportunity to function with no reliance or a greatly reduced need to rely on glasses or contact lenses. This provides a freedom that those of us who do not wear glasses take for granted. Those who have had the procedure are thrilled to be able to wake up in the morning and see.
Children Like Contact Lenses for the Same Reasons as Adults
Thanks to technological, medical and cosmetic advances in contact lenses, more parents are switching their children’s glasses with contacts.
Children may benefit from contact lens wear more often than we think. Children often want contacts for many of the same reasons adults do, including appearance, comfort and improved vision.

Skincare Must Haves
My patients always ask me what they can do to improve the appearance of their skin. To make it easy, I have put together this list I call the: Must Haves for Anti Aging/Skin Rejuvenation.
1. Retinoid – Can be prescription (Retinoic Acid, Tretinoin) or non-prescription (Retinol). Non-prescription should be pharmaceutical grade found at physician offices. Numerous clinical studies show this is the most effective ingredient for anti aging, but needs to be in the proper strength. Retinol is vital for the formation of healthy skin cells.
