Being a practicing chiropractor for many years, I have the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people everyday. When patients enter my office on their initial visit, they enter with certain symptoms as well as very specific expectations of what it is they want to accomplish. Most commonly, they come in with back pain, neck pain, headaches and other symptoms of disease and have a simple understanding or should I say misunderstanding that chiropractors fix backs. And, their expectations are that they want to feel better now.

Is Your Relationship All It Can Be?
People enter relationships for various reasons, rarely considering all aspects of a relationship before committing. Only after the fact do we realize that much has been overlooked in preparing for that commitment. Obviously, the best time to address these issues is before the commitment, but the sooner issues are addressed, the greater likelihood you’ll see improvement before the pain becomes unbearable. Withholding your thoughts, feelings and desires, for fear of rocking the boat, will only leave you to feel frustrated in the future.
Got Sleep?
Since getting to sleep is such a common problem, there is much advice on the subject. However, what works for someone else may not work for you. People vary in their need for and satisfaction with sleep. Most of us at some point or another have experienced difficulty with sleeping whether it’s waking up many times during the night, waking up early and not being able to get back to sleep, sleeping lightly, experiencing recurring night terrors and nightmares, or just simply overall poor sleep quality. For some of us these time periods may be prolonged and can be associated with how we’re dealing with stress in our lives, what thoughts we’re taking to bed with us, how much or little we’re exercising, our eating habits, as well as our sleeping habits to name a few.
