Hanuri Learning & Reading Center held their Grand Opening on October 30. Hanuri offers a comprehensive Tutoring Program. Manager, David Ahn hosted the event with his teachers and it was a beautiful fall day enjoyed by everyone in attendance. Tours of the center were given by the teachers and manager, David Ahn.

It was a beautiful evening as friends and family gathered to honor six extraordinary and successful women who have dedicated their lives to helping improve the lives of others in our community. On Saturday, November 1, Single Mothers Outreach presented the Empowering HeArts Gala at the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center for the annual arts competition. Tippi Hedren served as the evening’s celebrity presenter as well as Dan Fagan, the gala’s emcee.

Halloween Season at Green Thumb Garden Center
On Saturday, September 6, Green Thumb Garden Center had their Halloween opening from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests were delighted with the ghoulish treats and open house deals, along with the unveiling of the Department 56 Halloween Village Display.
Be the Light’s Inaugural 5K To Benefit A Light of Hope Support Center
Approximately 250 runners hit the pavement at the inaugural Be the Light nighttime run/walk on Saturday, August 30. One hundred percent of the proceeds went to benefit A Light of Hope, a Santa Clarita non-profit addiction support center dedicated to 14-26 year olds and their parents. The event raised over $10,000 for the center. The 5K began at sunset and runners followed the San Francisquito Creek Trail.
It Was a Night to Remember – Evening Under the Stars to Benefit Michael Hoefflin Foundation
What a wonderful evening it was as hundreds of guests came out to Robinson Ranch Golf Course to support the Michael Hoefflin Foundation’s Evening Under the Stars Gala. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Robinson Ranch Golf Course and had the opportunity to bid on items, all to support a great cause.
