Ninety dogs and their human companions came out to Bridgeport Park on Saturday, October 22. The event took a “Bite” out of cancer raising close to $11,000 in it’s very first year... and really showed the support of our community and our four legged-companions.
Lifting Spirits
It’s always so nice to see our community come together to help others. In October, students from the Santa Clarita Valley Chinese School came together to write well over 100 get well cards for surgery patients living in an orphanage in Henan, China.
A Ducky Time for a Good Cause

Rain didn’t stop participants as they ventured through multiple checkpoints throughout the community for the American Heart Association’s HeartChase event on Sunday, November 20. Teams competed against one another, gaining points as they uncovered clues, solved puzzles and completed in challenges.
The Magic of the Lights Festival of Trees Gala to benefit the Boys & Girls Club
Deck the Halls with boughs of holly and a beautiful array of elaborately decorated holiday trees! It was an evening of elegance and fun as the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley auctioned off the beautifully decorative trees at The Magic of the Lights Gala on Saturday, November 19.
