Dozens of motorcycles rumbled onto LARC Ranch recently to bring fellowship and a bit of biker excitement to the ranch’s residents as the Bikers for Christ held their Third Annual LARC Ranch Benefit Ride.

Hundreds gathered at Castaic Lake on Sunday, April 25, to have fun and get dirty at the Merrel Down & Dirty Mud Run Series. Participants of all ages raced alongside local Military personnel, Public Safety Officers and Police Academy trainees, all while supporting troops through Operation Gratitude.

Assistance League Footsteps 5K
This year Assistance League celebrated the 20th anniversary of their Footsteps 5K Run/Walk with over 300 participants “taking their mark” under sunny skies.
Fire on the Soccer Field!
The AYSO GU14 Castaic Inferno is at it again! They just finished two more successful tournaments - one in Palmdale where they brought home first place medals, and the other in Moorpark where they added fourth place trophies to their collection. Over the past three months, they’ve been busy battling some of the toughest teams in Southern California and have enjoyed many victories. To date, they’ve played 18 matches with 14 wins (including 11 shutouts), three losses, and one tie.
Celebrating 40 Years
Saturday, March 27 Green Thumb Garden Center held it’s 40th Anniversary Spring Opening. The day was enjoyed by the many visitors in attendance who watched a variety of vendor demonstrations, were treated to hourly giveaways and whose children in attendance could take part in a children’s coloring corner, and were treated to lemonade and popcorn.
One Sweet Night at TPC
Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, The SCV Youth Project’s mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where teens and families are strengthened, empowered and equipped with the tools they need to live successful and fulfilling lives. The second annual Sweet Charity Cake Auction raised $22,000 to help aid in the Youth Project’s mission.

With a giant passion for fashion, the Rituals team along with volunteers and guests watched the ECOFashion walk down the green carpet all while raising money for The Surfrider Foundation and The SCV Youth Project.
