Vampires Take the Stage at Valencia High School
Even though Irish author Bram Stoker published Dracula over a hundred years ago, the novel continues to be incredibly influential in this day and age. And with the popularity of shows like HBO’s True Blood, ABC’s The Gates or the CW’s The Vampire Diaries, you can’t help but join in on this vampire craze. Not only have vampires made their way in our homes, but the popularity on the big screen with movies like The Twilight Saga have created a buzz for quite some time. Young and old, vampire enthusiasts eagerly wait for their new movie to be released or television show to come be aired. It’s quite a phenomenon.

A Guys Take On Being Single in Santa Clarita
Wow, the response to my column has been tremendous, and I would like to thank everyone for the feedback. I received lots of great comments from both sides. Oh, and the constant ribbing I am getting from a lot of people at work, makes this even more fun. So now I would like to share an “Internet dating experience,” my first Internet date. I was just browsing the Internet one day in a Galaxy far, far away when a pop up said, “Try this dating site for free!”
Single in Santa Clarita Dating Rituals: Then and Now
It used to be: Boy meets girl. He sees her from across the room and decides right then and there that he has to meet her. Perhaps it’s the way she smiles, or carries herself? Maybe there’s something in her laugh, or a special glint in her eye? It could even be the way she touches her hair (FYI: It’s a psychological fact that a woman will often touch, play with or adjust her hair when she knows she’s being watched by an interested man). He either crosses the room or finds a mutual friend for an introduction. A conversation ensues and, before parting, phone numbers are exchanged and plans are made to get together for a “date.”

Serving Up Quality at Kelly’s!
“Not even possible.” It’s what I said to the owner of Kelly’s Steak and Seafood Restaurant who was convinced he could get me to actually enjoy eating underwater creatures. The first dish that was brought out besides the delectable brown sugar-enriched bread sticks was a fresh Atlantic salmon filet topped with a creamy bay shrimp sauce. I couldn’t help but relish in the tender, mouth-watering filet cooked to perfection. My initial supposition was clearly proven wrong once but who knew it would happen again with their jumbo prawn scampi sautéed with garlic, white wine, tomatoes and herbs, all served with the perfect complement of basmati rice.
