Great Day Advertising As Its New Advertising Agency

Valencia Acura has selected Great Day Advertising as its new advertising agency of record.  Great Day will be responsible for all of the dealership’s traditional and interactive advertising.

Several months ago, we wrote about the weekly “Cruise In” or “Cars ‘n Coffee” event that takes place every Sunday morning in Calabasas.  Since then we’ve been scouring the SCV for evidence of such events here.  We’re pleased to report that there are, indeed, such events occurring in the SCV, but they are not well known.  We hope that this article will help those interested in such events to be able to get involved.

Last month we reported on the “Cruise In” event that takes place every Sunday morning in Calabasas, in the parking lot of a shopping center just past the intersection of Mulholland Drive and Calabasas Road.  This month we report on different drives that can be taken after you leave that “Cruise In” event.

To catch up from last month, the Acura RDX starts at $32,995, does 19 miles to the gallon in the city and 23 miles to the gallon on the highway.  This month the Toyota Highlander is pure midsize SUV and the high-end Mercedes just doesn’t get any better than the fun-loving R320CDI.

Regular events for car enthusiasts occur throughout the greater Los Angeles area.  One of the best happens every Sunday morning in Calabasas.  The event goes by various names depending upon whom you ask, but “Cruise In” and “Cars ‘n Coffee” are the two most common names.
The weekly event was started by the owner of The Village Roaster, a coffee house in the shopping center just off of the 101 Freeway at the Valley Circle Boulevard exit, just past the intersection of Mulholland Drive and Calabasas Road.  That’s where the event occurs — in the parking lot of that shopping center.  And depending on how many cars show up, most of the parking lot can be filled with cars.  Although “Cruise In” occurs every Sunday morning from about 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the largest gathering of cars is the last Sunday of every month.

“F1.”  “e-gear.”  “Cambiacorsa.”  These are examples of terms used to describe an alternative type of transmission found in exotic cars.  How do such transmissions differ from traditional 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions?

What with the high price of gasoline these days and a shortage of patience on many California highways, consumers can only wish that auto dealers would offer more cool cars that are also affordable and fun to drive.  While getting behind the wheel of a vehicle that looks good doesn’t mean your temper won’t flare when you get cut off or get stuck in traffic, it can mean that your ride will be a little easier, perhaps putting a smile on your face in spite of it all.

We’re a new business based in Valencia, owned and operated by a husband and wife who have been residents of the Santa Clarita Valley for nine years.  The Club applies the concept of timeshare to the use of exotic cars.  The Club owns and services the cars and Club members have the right to use the cars.  The cars can be used up to one week at a time, on a reservation basis.  We have three levels of membership: Platinum (24 weeks per year), Gold (18 weeks per year), and Silver (12 weeks per year).

If you’ve been looking for a system then you have probably been looking for an entertainment system as well.  Vehicles today offer many different things to be installed like DVD players, CD players, multiple speakers and even TVs; there are many different things.  In addition to all of those there are more that are calling you to buy them. Most of these even offer mp3 connection. 

It’s not as busy as Los Angeles International Airport and will increasingly become key in meeting the demands of Southern California air travel.   Located in the Antelope Valley, The L.A-Palmdale Airport now has commercial carrier service to and from San Francisco.
