The Price of a Pool
On a daily basis I am asked what is the starting price of a pool. My answer, “So how much would you like to spend?” I am not trying to answer a question with a question, but it is the best way to find out what a person is looking for. Pool pricing has increased over the years just as the housing market, cars, groceries and gas. The main reason for asking how much one would like to spend is to find out what that person has in mind for the overall environment of their backyard. Are they looking for a large body of water to swim laps, play volleyball, cool off in, fill a space in the backyard or are they looking for an entire entertainment resort a few steps from the back door? Today’s pools and spas come in a large variety of options.

The Beauty of Hardwood Floor
We would love to have a wood floor in our house, but we are always worried about the care we should give to it. Thinking about those who already have and those who are planning to have a wood floor, we at Modern Oak Interior Design, are giving you some tips how to take care of your beautiful floor:
Keep Cool this Summer
A central air conditioner that runs but doesn’t cool may just need to be cleaned. Plan to do this on a relatively warm day. First look for your owner’s manual and, if you can find it, follow its instructions. I f you can’t find it, request one from the manufacturer.
To clean the filter, remove it from the furnace or air handler (it’s usually located inside or very near the air inlet side). Replace a disposable filter or clean a reusable filter according to the manufacturers’ directions.
Think Green with One of the New Hybrid Cars
Nowadays, with the rising cost of gasoline, it just makes sense to consider buying one of the new hybrid cars that are on the market. Reports show that the four cars outlined below are environmentally-friendly and will get much better mileage - so much better than those run-of-the-mill “so last year” types cars that tried to own the road.

Remodeling Your Kitchen, Pull Up Your Drawers
You know kitchen and bathrooms sell more houses than any other space in the home, this is a proven fact over the years and in today’s market they are now the number one subject of more home shows than any other area in the house. What you put in your kitchen is extremely important and you need to know what is hot.
