Located in the heart of historical Old Town Newhall, El Trocadero Steakhouse & Cantina has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley for 15 years. Family owned and operated, El Trocadero serves authentic Sonoran cuisine that features mouth-watering steaks and traditional, fresh recipes from Mexico. Owners Mandana and Homayoun are at it again! After the success of Persia restaurant, they have opened a second location in Old Town Newhall. Like its counterpart, Persia Lounge offers delicious dine-in, catering, and to-go with free delivery. Persia Lounge also has a subterranean cocktail lounge with Middle Eastern inspired drinks that are catered to sophisticated tastes.

The Canyon Theatre Guild presents Singin’ in the Rain, a toe-tapping musical reflecting the pivotal time in film history when sound film was first introduced to the American public.  As early as 1923, screenings of a new-patented sound-on-film technology were retroactively fitted to silent films and became immediately popular. The major studios all scrambled to procure and adapt the technology for making big studio films with sound incorporated.
