Educating Young People on Preserving Their Hearing. Advanced Audiology was the host of CARE Learning Academy-SCV Tutors on August 7, 2014. The group received a tour of the sights and sounds of what a professional audiology center looks like. The children asked many questions… “They were such a great group of kids. The children who came were very smart and asked a lot of questions,” Nola said.
A Night to Remember at Vine 2 Wine Classic
It was a delightfully warm evening on August 16th at California Institute of the Arts during the 13th Annual Vine 2 Wine Classic. Guests enjoyed wine, 60 plus craft brews, and amazing food from Santa Clarita’s finest eateries while listening to music from the wonderful Jimmy Carnelli and his band in the main gallery.

Angelo Lucchese has been a student at Legacy Christian Acadamy since kindergarten. Over the past six years Legacy friends, family, and teachers have watched him grow up playing baseball here in Santa Clarita at Hart Baseball Park along with many other young boys who have a love for the sport!
The SCCS Cardinals Fly Across the Pond for the Adventure of a Lifetime!
The walls have come down and the roof is off in Santa Clarita Christian School’s British literature classroom. Thirty-five SCCS students and chaperones travelled across the pond for nine days in April touring England from its northern parts in Haworth, to the heart of the country in London.
GraceFest SCV 2014
The first annual GraceFest SCV was a huge success, held at Central Park in Santa Clarita on Saturday, May 31.

Way back in 1949, a number of interesting events took place including: the first broadcasts from Los Angeles based KTTV TV (channel 11) and KNBH - now KNBC TV (channel 4), then President Harry Truman labeling his administration the “Fair Deal”, RCA releasing its first single record ever (45 rpm), Joe DiMaggio becoming the first $100,000/year baseball player (NY Yankees), a USAF plane beginning the first nonstop flight around-the-world, the first automatic street light going into operation (New Milford, Ct), Mrs. Georgia Neese Clark of Kansas becoming the first woman treasurer of US, the NBL & NBAA merging into the National Basketball Association, the flight of the first jet-propelled airline (De Havilland Comet), “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer” appearing on music charts and in Santa Clarita, Golden Oak’s first graduating class stepping on the stage.
Wheelchair Sports Festival Success!
On May 24 and 25, Triumph Foundation hosted the Wheelchair Sports Festival at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex Gymnasium. It was a day for the entire family as nearly 400 people participated in this fun filled event.
