The 11th Annual Summer Meltdown, an Autism Awareness Art & Music Festival took place on Saturday, April 26 at the Santa Clarita Skatepark.
Assistance League ® 5K Run/Walk
On April 27, The Assistance League Operation School Bell® 5K Run/Walk and “Mutt Strut” made history in their 25th anniversary year with 761 runners (including over 500 local Junior High students), the largest number of runners ever! The race benefits their signature philanthropic program known as Operation School Bell®, all proceeds of which provide clothes and shoes for students in need in The Santa Clarita Valley.

It was an extremely warm Sunday afternoon, but that didn’t stop thousands of eventgoers as they gathered at the Santa Clarita Valley Child & Family Center’s Taste of the Town on Sunday, May 4 at the beautiful Mann Biomedical Park.

The Santa Clarita Artists’ Association held a 2nd Annual Spring Art Festival and Sale on April 27 at Le Chene French Cuisine in Agua Dulce. The free event was held in the restaurant gardens and was blessed with perfect weather to the enjoyment of all who attended. Forty-three local artists displayed their best work.
