A good show of fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers turned out for the 1st annual Green Thumb Harvest Garden Faire held on Sunday, September 5, 2010.  Participants began showing up at 9 a.m. and entered items until the 1 p.m. judging time.  Best of Show winner Joni Barnes also shared the win with her husband Lynn Barnes who took home 3rd place in the basket portion of the judging.

On June 10, nearly 700 friends and supporters of the Youth Project joined together to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Santa Clarita Valley Youth Project at Six Flags Magic Mountain.  Celebrities like Dustin Brown, LA Kings, Eva La Rue, star of CSI: Miami and Alex Kapp Horner, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Alyson Stoner, star of Disney’s Camp Rock, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and Step Up were also in attendance to help show their support.
