8th Annual Bow-Wows & Meows Pet Fair

Autumn was in the air and so were the sounds of hundreds of dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, colors and breeds at this year’s 8th Annual Bow-Wows & Meows Pet Fair held at Hart Park in Newhall.  This year’s fair offered low cost vaccines and free rabies shots to our pooch pals from TAGS A-1 Veterinary Services.  Pet supplies, food, and engraved pet tags were offered from various vendors as well.  People came from all over the valley came to find a new best friend for their family by adopting a pet from one of the animal shelters featured.  Overall 111 loving animals found new homes.

Senior Center Wine Auction

ImageThe 17th annual benefit Wine Auction, “Flavors of Life,” was held on Saturday, September 27 at the Mann Biomedical Park in Valencia.  The event’s proceeds went to the Santa Clarita Center’s Home Delivered Meals as well as other related programs.  Guests enjoyed an internationally diverse five-course buffet provided by Be A Guest catering.
