In the month of September we celebrate the beginning of Fall with the Autumnal Equinox which begins on September 23. We also observe important national holidays including Labor Day and Patriot Day. And we also honor Hispanic Heritage Month, Baby Safety month and many others. The month of September also observes National Childhood Cancer Awareness month, as well as, National Suicide Prevention Awareness month.
We also observe Arts in Education, Assisted Living, and more. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year is celebrated on September 15th. Yom Kippur begins on September 24th.
The month of September is associated with fall activities where kids are back in school and sports begin such as fall soft-ball and it’s football season!
We take time to decorate our homes with fall colors!! In September we can still find many opportunities to spend time together with our family and have some fun!! And we all look forward to Fall and especially the cooler weather. Go out and enjoy the weather and have a great time!
